In the Major Leagues of Hip-Hop and Music itself, the City of Chicago could have been seen as League Champions. With the huge success of Mr. West’s third effort, Lupe’s excellent sophomore effort and the underground and blogs of the world constantly chatting about the vast talents coming from the Windy City. Look to 2008 to be even greater for the Chi, with a few huge events and talent that is ready to take on the world.

Last night I spent some time with three future Chicago prospects at Cinespace in LA. Look for the upcoming video of the night’s insanity brought to you courtesy of Million $$$ Mano, Hollywood Holt and Mic Terror. Mic gives up his true life’s passion. Holt discusses the mean streets and life of his Moped Gang. Then Mano gives up the secret to sustaining his lavish lifestyle and the future collabos he is brewing to change the RAP GAME!

In the meantime get a feel for some of my favorite new rappers in ‘08 by visiting their myspace pages! My fellow DJs, forget the radio crap and start spinning some artist with a true love for the art because some of these Hip-Pop rappers ego’s are too big!
