For you Hip Hop heads, here is a good spot to look for some new twists on the tracks you play this weekend.

DJ I-DEE is on the come-up… PT. 2

November 15th, 2007 | Category: Mix Revolution TV

So the same day I get back from Taiwan, DJ Q-Bert comes into town early for a show myself and him are doing. His hotel ended up being in walking distance from my apartment on South Beach so we pretty much chilled every night he was in town. After a couple practice sessions, I asked him if he was down to do an “interview”. He agreed. Here it is:

The day of the show, I find out K-Razor couldn’t make it so instead, they got DJ Immortal & Trippin’ to replace him. Alongside them was also my main man Wrekonize and myself of course. Here are a couple pics of the event:

This Week’s Quick Blurbs!

November 12th, 2007 | Category: Mix Revolution TV, News, Random Tip

First and foremost, our condolences go out to Kanye West and his family. No more needs to be said, as the media has been updating us on this news constantly, even though the family has asked for some privacy. Let them mourn and keep them in your prayers!

Keep an eye out for DJ I-Dee’s interview with turntable legend, Q-Bert, which should be up soon.

Also, there will me lots of OLDS, since I can’t call it news, videos coming up in our TV section this week. Look from here on out to see new posts in our TV section every week.

I was forwarded an interesting article from LA City Beat this past week regarding LA’s own and Hollywood’s favorite DJ, Steve “Kid Millionaire” Aoki. While I do not agree with everything said, since I have seen him DJ many times over the past 4 years or so but it is interesting none the less. Read the article here.

Last, while watching TV today this commercial really made me laugh. I guess I am not a tough guy.

Enjoy your day and week. I am going to see Mixmaster Mike tonight. So I will update you on that later!

Peace!

DJ I-DEE is on the come-up…

November 06th, 2007 | Category: Concerts, Mix Revolution TV, TurntableTHIS!!!

Greetings Everyone! I-Dee here, taking a quick second to give you a run down on whats going on in my day-to-day well being for the past couple of weeks…

Went to Taiwan for two shows on Oct. 19/20 in the cities of Taipei and Taichung. I was supposed to do these shows during my Asia Tour in August but I couldn’t make it out of the airport in Shanghai because of the nasty Typhoon that was hitting Taiwan and the Phillippines at the time. Oh well.

I left Miami on Wednesday evening, had a connecting flight in San Francisco and a direct red-eye flight from there to Taipei. Now first off, I really hate Miami International. In particular, American Airlines because they always fuck up with my luggage. Low and behold, they lost one of my bags once I arrived. I was still able to perform, however, I had to go out and buy new clothes instead of relaxing from the exhausting flight. Not to mention, the first show was in Taichung which was about a 45 minute train ride from Taipei. Luckily, the hotel was pretty baller:
