DJ I-DEE is on the come-up…
Greetings Everyone! I-Dee here, taking a quick second to give you a run down on whats going on in my day-to-day well being for the past couple of weeks…
Went to Taiwan for two shows on Oct. 19/20 in the cities of Taipei and Taichung. I was supposed to do these shows during my Asia Tour in August but I couldn’t make it out of the airport in Shanghai because of the nasty Typhoon that was hitting Taiwan and the Phillippines at the time. Oh well.
I left Miami on Wednesday evening, had a connecting flight in San Francisco and a direct red-eye flight from there to Taipei. Now first off, I really hate Miami International. In particular, American Airlines because they always fuck up with my luggage. Low and behold, they lost one of my bags once I arrived. I was still able to perform, however, I had to go out and buy new clothes instead of relaxing from the exhausting flight. Not to mention, the first show was in Taichung which was about a 45 minute train ride from Taipei. Luckily, the hotel was pretty baller:
After I got clothes, deodorant, etc. I wasn’t feeling adventurous as far as food goes. There was a Chilli’s right across from my hotel and so I ended up eating a grilled chicken sandwich and fries for dinner. First show was at this place called Xaga. Pretty huge and amazing club. Awesome crowd as well. Unfortunately, the only thing I have to show is a picture I took with the audience afterwards:

After the show, I went back to the hotel, jacked off to about 5 different channels of porn and caught up on some much much needed sleep.
Next morning, took the high-speed rail again back to Taipei. Linked up with one of the employees from Luxy who took me shopping. We made a quick appearance at a hip-hop clothing store called Puff Nation. Really fresh gear in there and shout out to the owner for all the free clothes. Also, we went to one of the most amazing Asian restaurants I’ve ever been to: Din Tai Fung. Apparently its the touristy spot to go to for excellent Taiwanese cuisine and perfect dumplings. I cannot stress how awesome this dumpling was… everything from the appearance, taste, texture, absolutely perfect!
After dinner, headed back to the hotel and relaxing until it was showtime…
I remember my crewmate DJ Enferno telling me how dope Luxy was but it wasn’t until I got there that I realized how amazing it is. I’ll let the picture and video speak for itself:

The next day, I met up with one of Dopey and Jr.Flo’s Toronto homegirl’s who lives in Taipei. She took me shopping some more and we hit up a dope Thai restaurant that had some really good curry chicken. Didn’t have much time since I had to head back to airport but that definitely ended the trip on a good note…
MORE TO COME, STAY TUNED!!!
