Drinking out of cups

I was at a wedding last weekend. I was seated at a table where I knew no one. The DJ booth was directly behind me. I spent the evening listening to his dumb shout-outs over “Sweet Caroline” and “Celebrate.” I endured the stupid table games he made us play, as ”Who let the dogs out” played on. At some point, I turned to the boy with me and simply said, “God, I hate DJs.”
